Nowadays there are so many appeals
on becoming a blood donor, due to the shortage in blood supplies. There is no
such thing as bad blood and every blood can be a donor. So all we need is a
courage and will to save one another by giving our blood. We can see that the
first step to improve our economy, technological development is to send our
students abroad from the experiences of many successful countries. For example:
we all know that South Korea was left extremely poor after the war. But now we
can see that Korea is one of the biggest donor countries in the world thanks to sending their students abroad to educate them. And we have already begun to prove that young
generations in Mongolia can compete the world and more our country the one of
the biggest economic and cultural donor country in the world.
What is competent ability
anyway? For Mongolia the concept of competent ability is relatively new. But
the whole idea was still quite not clear for rest of the globe over 3 decades
ago. In the era of globalization the development of the country depends on the
competent ability of the whole nation rather than individual people or
individual companies since age of stone there has been one rule “The stronger
beats the weaker” and that rule is still on the role today. Not only on people
but even for the whole countries. In
1994 a famous economist Paul Krugman said “the competent ability is no
different then the county’s labour benefits” in his article on “Foreign
Relation” magazine. Just like that the competent ability of a person will
depend on how much he or she is working.
But right here we are
talking about competent ability of a Mongolian. So in my opinion there should
be a different ways to prepare ourselves to a competition. According to experts
the advantage of Mongolian people is that we have a very high level of IQ. But
the downside however, is non-creativity. And actually I that is true. There has
always been that big talk about Mongolian that being lazy and non-self
confidence is somehow the main quality of a Mongolian. The authorities does not
see that much develop the Mongolian brains rather than Oyutolgoi and Tavan
tolgoi.
So for me it feels like they are making us more lazy by
giving money. And if we just feed Mongolian brains with Knowledge instead of
putting so much in Oyutolgoi and Tavan tolgoi, we can have both mind and
environmental advantages.
At the end there are so many
people from Mongolia, accepted by the world, unknown to us such as Mongolian
engineers in Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, star of Oprah shows, Mongol princess on
the ice, Obama’s designer, Olympic champ. And like that we have so much
capability and we are living so close to the world around us.
